Well, I originally created this blog about a year ago but then never finished it or even posted anything on it. I've always been one of those anti-livejournal/blog/twitter/iPhone (okay, anti-technology) kind of people. Call me old fashioned, but hey, I like my privacy. With my trip to Europe quickly approaching, I figured I should probably re-visit my dormant blog and actually start using it. My family and friends have been telling me that they want to be up to date with what I'm doing, where I'm going, etc. so I thought using a blog would be best.
If you don't already know, I will be studying abroad in Madrid, Spain for 4 weeks and then traveling around Italy and Greece for a few weeks after that. Throw in a few days in Paris and Lisbon and you've got a deal (Aka a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity). I'm going to try to update when I can but I don't know how often that will be, at least in Madrid, where I'll be busy taking classes and NOT getting internet in my dorm room. But hey, my dorm room is a single, which means my own room, bathroom, AND shower. I can deal with no internet.
There are things I'm going to miss while I'm away, including my cousin's wedding, two friends' weddings, my awesome book club (yes), our praise team concert, the 4th of July (aka one of my favorite holidays), church camp, etc. but I'm trying to focus on the things I AM going to see and do. Too many to list. I'm super excited. Seeing as it is 1:30am though my excitement may seem lacking and I really need to get to bed so I can start practicing that thing called getting up early... *insert nervous laugh here*
